Job summary

Intuit is seeking an Engineering Manager for the AI-driven development within the QuickBooks Online tax platform in New York. You will lead indirect tax determination, calculation, and e-filing systems, shaping product direction and coordinating with Program Management, Business Analysts, and Development Managers.

You will mentor engineers across multiple pods, champion engineering excellence, and embed AI into delivery.

Qualifications

4+ years leading software engineering teams delivering customer-facing or compliance-critical software.
8-12+ years hands-on backend software development in scalable systems; fintech a plus.
Ability to lead through ambiguity, empower engineers, and manage multiple workstreams.
Expertise in software design/architecture and distributed backend design.
Experience with frontend technologies and SaaS platforms.
