Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an exceptional Architect to define and execute the long-term technical vision for Salesforce DX. You will design high-throughput systems, write production-grade code, prototype frontier concepts, and help agents safely modify enterprise software at scale.

You will partner with leadership across AI, platform, security, and DevOps groups to solve complex problems, drive architectural evolution, and empower autonomous software delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of systems engineering experience designing production-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on builder mindset with proficiency in Java, Go, TypeScript, or Python.
• Deep Salesforce architecture knowledge including metadata, deployment models, Apex and LWC.
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, retrieval systems, MCP, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Experience implementing sandboxing, static analysis, policy enforcement, and observability.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define AI-native developer architecture and multi-agent orchestration.
• Lead the architectural evolution of Salesforce's developer platform.
• Design stateful multi-agent orchestration engines and standard interfaces (MCP).
• Bridge LLM capabilities with Salesforce runtimes and metadata.
• Build real-time retrieval architectures for large codebases.
• Ensure security, governance, and execution guardrails across the pipeline.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross-functional technical initiatives.
