Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with at least a 3.0 GPA.
• Strong mathematical reasoning including linear algebra, probability, and numerical analysis for performance estimation.
• Understanding of computer architecture concepts (cache hierarchies, memory bandwidth, CPU pipelines).
• Experience with Python and data analysis tools (NumPy, pandas, matplotlib) and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• English language proficiency (written & verbal).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Characterize AI/ML workloads across inference and training, quantify compute and memory behavior, and identify bottlenecks using methods like roofline analysis and profiling.
• Build and validate analytical or code-based models estimating throughput, latency, utilization, bandwidth, and efficiency for hardware.
• Collaborate with hardware, compiler, and runtime engineers to translate findings into architectural and software optimization discussions.
• Own benchmarking or modeling efforts end to end and communicate conclusions through reports, presentations, and design reviews.
