Job summary

Glidewell Dental in Irvine, CA, seeks an Enterprise AI/ML Leader to translate the company strategy into an actionable AI/ML roadmap across manufacturing, digital workflows, customer experience, and operations.

You will own the entire AI/ML lifecycle, lead a cross-functional team in an Agile environment, drive governance, and deliver measurable value through improvements in throughput, quality, and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/DS or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum five years AI/ML production experience.
• Five years deploying and maintaining AI/ML models on production systems.
• Five years applying ML to optimization problems (e.g., sales prediction, recommender systems).
• Three years leading a technical team (coaching, hiring, performance).
• Experience with Python, SQL, APIs, cloud, data pipelines, CI/CD, production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Translate the Company’s AI/ML strategy into an actionable roadmap.
• Own all phases of AI/ML lifecycle from requirements to deployment and support.
• Lead Agile/Scrum engineering teams and manage delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product visions into technical requirements.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Mentor staff and drive AI adoption and cross-functional collaboration.
