Job summary

Avathon Government, a subsidiary of Avathon, is a U.S.-based defense tech company in Austin, TX. We seek a Solutions Architect to act as the SME for the customer’s organization, translating needs into technical AI-enabled solutions and guiding roadmaps while supporting capture efforts.

The role demands 3+ years in technical sales and AI/ML, strong presentation skills, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance. Travel and US citizenship are required to engage with federal programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in technical sales for enterprise or partners.
• 3+ years’ experience with AI/ML solutions.
• Strong, hands-on technical background with a consultative approach.
• Experience with Federal Government customers and programs.
• Outstanding presentation skills. Travel required. Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide web and in-person product overview and demonstrations of Avathon’s software products to potential customers and partners
• Coordinate with the sales/capture team to respond to RFPs and technical author for competitive deals
• Work as a dedicated partner to execute winning account strategies and to provide ample amount of support to the right projects
• Participate in client sales call planning, preparation and meetings
• Lead technical solution strategy throughout the capture and proposal lifecycle
• Collaborate with team members across organization to design and implement product growth.
