Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering full-stack solutions.
• Proven ability to define requirements and deliver working, tested products.
• Strong Python and at least one other language (C#, TS/JS, Java, or C++).
• Experience building REST APIs, data pipelines, databases, and web UIs.
• Hands-on ML in production (anomaly detection, classification, time-series) using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with AI coding tools, testing, code review, and data protection.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Azure or similar cloud.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from customers and document them into a technical plan.
• Design and build full applications (backend, APIs, data pipelines, UI).
• Architect modular, reusable products for expansion to other assets and customers.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions for predictive maintenance and root cause analysis.
• Connect detection to action with workflows for maintenance, work orders, or automated responses.
• Use AI tools safely, review and secure AI-generated code, and maintain tests and docs.
• Integrate with sensors, controllers, historians, and external systems including edge environments.
• Write tests, use CI/CD, and comply with security requirements (STIG, NIST, RMF).
• Demonstrate progress to customers and stakeholders and manage risks.
