Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an engineer to design, develop, test, and support scalable software platforms and AI-powered applications for conversational banking and personalized client experiences.

You will work on Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, intelligent search, and cloud-native architectures, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and product leaders to deliver enterprise-scale AI systems.

Qualifications

• Proven software development experience with Java or Python.
• Strong OO programming and design capabilities.
• Experience building enterprise apps and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and AI-enabled apps.
• Familiarity with LLMs, Generative AI, and AI frameworks.
• Experience implementing RAG and retrieval techniques.
• Experience with Git and source control practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication; Agile background.

Responsibilities

• Code solutions and unit test per acceptance criteria and compliance.
• Design and modify architecture components and interfaces.
• Mentor engineers and promote CI/CD practices.
• Refine stories, define requirements, and estimate work.
• Develop and integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise apps.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Perform code reviews and drive engineering practice improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; ensure performance and security.
