Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Software Data Engineer for the Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. This full-time role involves developing and enhancing software systems based on AI-related requirements, supporting critical enterprise-wide contracts in the Intelligence Community.

The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, the ability to design and deploy scalable AI/ML models, and the need for an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The company offers competitive benefits and 25 days of PTO annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Two years of Software Engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable AI/ML models.

Skills

Experience with Prompt Engineering and RAG

Collaborative teamwork

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

Master’s or PhD in relevant field
