Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Software Engineer for AI/ML Platform Operations in a hybrid role. The position focuses on operational excellence, stability, and governance of enterprise AI and data platforms, including responsibilities across deployment, observability, and platform automation.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of software/ platform engineering experience and a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, platform engineering, cloud operations, MLOps, DevOps, or related technical disciplines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational excellence, reliability, and support of AI/ML platforms to ensure stability and governance.
• Design and implement automation, monitoring, observability, and tooling for platform reliability.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex production issues involving AI platforms and cloud infra.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers and platform teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, governance, security, and developer experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
