The Mutual Group is seeking a Sr AI Engineer to build production-grade AI solutions on AWS, focusing on deploying, operating, and scaling AI systems in a regulated insurance environment. The role combines hands-on engineering with shaping the foundation of an emerging AI platform.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in software/data/AI engineering, with experience in RAG pipelines, LLMs, MLOps, and building end-to-end AI/ML workflows across policy, claims, and billing domains.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in software, data engineering, AI/ML engineering
• Hands‑on experience building production AI/ML systems
• Experience with RAG pipelines, LLMs, or NLP-based systems
• Experience with AWS Bedrock or similar GenAI platforms
• Experience with data pipelines and distributed systems
• Working knowledge of MLOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, versioning)

Aufgaben

• Build AI Systems (Core Responsibility): design end‑to‑end AI/ML solutions including LLM‑based apps
• Build RAG pipelines using vector databases and enterprise data sources
• Train, validate, monitor, and retrain ML models
• Develop APIs and services to operationalize AI across the org
• Develop Data + AI Pipelines: ingest multimodal content and transform data
• Integrate AI workflows with enterprise systems
• Ensure data quality, traceability, reliability, governance in AI pipelines
• Operationalize Models (MLOps): CI/CD for AI/ML
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain models in production
• Manage model versioning and performance monitoring
• Build on AWS: SageMaker, Lambda, S3, Glue, EKS; evolve AWS Bedrock
• Apply Responsible AI: guardrails, data security, governance
• Lead by Doing: mentor engineers, set standards, partner with teams
