Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is hiring a Software Engineer – AI/ML Platform Operations to lead the reliability, governance, and support of enterprise AI and data platforms. This hybrid role emphasizes platform operations, MLOps, automation, observability, and deployment support for AI workloads.

The position requires 4+ years in software/platform engineering, experience with AWS, Python/Java/JS/Node, CI/CD tools, and strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, platform engineering, cloud operations, MLOps, DevOps, or related disciplines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting production cloud-based applications and services in AWS environments.
• Strong experience with software engineering and automation using Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Node.js.
• Experience with CI/CD, build, integration, and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with cloud-native services including compute, storage, networking, databases, and serverless architectures.
• Experience building and maintaining operational monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational excellence, reliability, and support of enterprise AI and data platforms.
• Ensure stability, scalability, observability, governance, and operational readiness of AI/ML solutions.
• Design automation, monitoring, dashboards, and runbooks to improve platform reliability.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and model release processes.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex production issues involving AI platforms and data integrations.
