Dev Technology Group seeks rising juniors and seniors for its Summer 2027 Internship Program in Reston, Virginia. Interns will contribute to data science, AI, ML, and product development projects for government, corporate, or research contexts.

You will gain hands‑on experience in AI integration, software development, and Agile practices, with opportunities to showcase results to executives. The role emphasizes Python/Jupyter, data visualization, and collaboration within a team, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• Rising juniors and seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computational Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Computer Science with a focus on AI
• Experience with Python, Jupyter Notebook, and associated data science libraries
• The ability to work independently and in a team with developers, providing guidance and support
• A desire to learn new skills, including self‑study if needed
• The ability to follow through on tasks to completion
• True enjoyment of technology, data, and the desire to contribute to a team’s output
• Completed coursework in Java, Python, or other object‑oriented, typed language
• The ability to read through existing code with the support of a senior developer
• Must be able to commute to the Reston, Virginia office a minimum of 2 days a week

Responsibilities

• Work on an advanced technology project for a government client, corporate operations, or R&D
• Improve software development, AI, and data outcomes within an Agile project
• Work on a technical intern project with the internship team
• Attend Scrum meetings and participate in sprint activity
• Write and maintain user guide documentation
• Present group results to executives at program end
