Job summary

Dev Technology Group in Reston, VA is seeking rising juniors and seniors for our Summer 2027 AI/Agentic Solution Engineer Intern program. Interns will be based at our Reston headquarters and gain hands-on experience in software development, sysadmin, DevOps, and related fields.

You will contribute to an AI-driven client project, prototype solutions, document technical and business details, and communicate progress with the team.

Qualifications

• Rising juniors and seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field preferred.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and how they relate to the systems supporting them.
• Ability to research problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
• Experience with agentic AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, Kiro).
• Must be able to commute to the Reston, VA office 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of solution(s) to solve real business problems.
• Engage with business users to understand problems and needs, and collaborate with them on prototyping and iteration
• Create all necessary documentation to support the technical, business, and user success of the delivery of the solution
• Communicate actively with team members, colleagues, project members, and others regarding the status of planning, work, challenges or difficulties, learning opportunities, and lessons learned.
