Job summary

Dev Technology Group in Reston, Virginia is seeking rising juniors and seniors for the Summer 2027 Microsoft Power Platform & AI Intern program. interns join the Reston headquarters to gain hands-on software development, sysadmin, DevOps experience while contributing to Agile delivery.

You will work with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, Copilot, and AI capabilities; design Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and SharePoint solutions; explore AI agent workflows and responsible AI, and

Qualifications

Rising juniors and seniors pursuing a technology-related degree.
Interest in Microsoft technologies, cloud computing, app development, automation, data, or AI.
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Power BI, Azure, or Copilot.
Exposure to development, scripting, low-code development, data analysis, or automation through coursework or projects.
Willingness to learn new technologies through hands-on experimentation and self-directed learning.

Responsibilities

Participate in Agile software delivery activities (stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives).
Learn government technology consulting and how Microsoft technologies modernize processes.
Build hands-on experience with Microsoft ecosystem (365, Power Platform, Azure, Copilot, AI).
Assist design and development of Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, SharePoint solutions, and low-code apps.
Explore AI capabilities (Copilot, AI Builder, Azure AI) to improve business processes.
Gain exposure to AI agents and agentic workflows; prototype potential solutions.
Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, analysis, and documentation.
Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and demonstrate solutions.
Support client delivery activities (solution development, testing, documentation, platform governance).
Learn how enterprise Microsoft environments are managed (security, governance, lifecycle management).
Research new Microsoft capabilities and evaluate applicability to client challenges.
Apply structured problem-solving to investigate issues and propose solutions.
Develop technical documentation and client-facing materials.
Collaborate with Summer Interns on a team-based technology project and present outcomes to leadership.
