Job summary

Dev Technology Group in Reston, VA, is seeking rising juniors and seniors for the Summer 2027 Microsoft Power Platform & AI Intern program. The internship focuses on Agile software delivery, Power Platform, and AI capabilities, with hands-on experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and related tools.

Interns will collaborate with technical teams, gain exposure to security and governance practices, and contribute to client delivery activities.

Qualifications

Rising juniors/seniors pursuing a technology-related degree.
Demonstrated interest in Microsoft technologies, cloud computing, app development, automation, data, or AI.
Exposure to Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Power BI, Azure, or Copilot.

Responsibilities

Participate in Agile software delivery activities (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, retrospectives).
Learn how Microsoft technologies modernize business processes and federal missions.
Build hands-on experience across Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, Copilot).
Assist design/development of Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, SharePoint solutions, and other low-code apps.
Explore Copilot, AI Builder, Azure AI services, and generative AI to improve processes and UX.
Gain exposure to AI agents and agentic workflows, prototype solutions, and evaluate AI augmentation.
Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, analysis, development, testing, and documentation.
Collaborate with technical teams, PMs, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and demonstrate solutions.
Support client delivery activities (solution development, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, research, governance).
Learn enterprise Microsoft environment management (security, governance, lifecycle management, environments, data protection, responsible AI).
Research new capabilities and evaluate applicability to client challenges and internal solutions.
Apply problem-solving to investigate issues and recommend solutions.
Develop and maintain technical docs, user guides, solution diagrams, and client-facing materials.
Collaborate with Summer Interns on a team-based technology project and present outcomes to leadership.
