Leidos in Huntsville, AL is seeking a talented AI/ML Intern for Summer 2027 within the Autonomy and Artificial Intelligence group. You will join a multidisciplinary team tackling aerospace and defense problems, applying Python and MATLAB, and learning from a cohort of engineers, computer scientists, researchers, and statisticians.

Across one or more open-ended projects, you will develop solutions, perform dynamical modeling and simulations, and explore supervised and reinforcement learning,

Formación

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a technical field with strong programming skills.
• Proficiency in Python and MATLAB and understanding of ML concepts.
• Familiarity with linear algebra, statistics, and dynamics related to aerospace.
• Ability to communicate technically and work both independently and in teams.
• Willingness to relocate to Huntsville, AL and obtain required security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Develop AI/ML solutions for aerospace/defense problems using Python and MATLAB.
• Tackle open-ended research problems with guidance from mentors and peers.
• Engage in dynamical modeling, machine learning, statistics, and data visualization.
