Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s Artificial Intelligence Technology and Systems group invites applications for a Summer Research Program Intern 2027 in AI & ML. Open to undergraduates and graduates pursuing degrees inElectrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.

Strong Python/R experience and solid communication skills are expected. A background investigation and Secret DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a technical degree.
• Experience with Python or R or similar high-level languages preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with AI/ML research projects addressing national needs.
• Work on state‑of‑the‑art algorithms in NLP, ML, graph analytics, or related areas.
