Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning / AI Engineering Intern to help build state‑of‑the‑art ML tools for mobile and embedded platforms. You will join a multi‑disciplinary team and work with popular frameworks while exploring ML hardware accelerators.

The role requires C/C++, Python experience and a 11–14 week Summer 2027 commitment, with graduation dates around Nov 2027 or later. Relocation coverage and furnished housing are provided as part of the internship program.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2027 (May–September)
• Expected graduation date of November 2027 or later
• 1+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python

Responsibilities

• Help build best-in-class ML/AI tools for next‑gen mobile and embedded platforms
• Work with multiple neural network frameworks and ML hardware accelerators
• Design, develop, and test software for ML tools and edge‑device models
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on research and deployment
