Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning/AI Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 program.

You will contribute to state-of-the-art ML platforms powering mobile and embedded devices, collaborating with researchers and software developers across multiple teams. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor's, master’s, or PhD program in computer engineering, CS, or EE, with 1+ year coding experience (C/C++, Python) and a 11–14 week summer commitment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
• Available for 11–14 weeks Summer 2027 (May–September).
• Expected graduation date November 2027 or later.
• 1+ years of programming experience (C, C++, Python).

Responsibilities

• Assist in building ML/AI engineering tools and frameworks for edge devices.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team including researchers and software developers.
• Work with popular neural network frameworks and ML hardware accelerators.
• Design, develop and test software for ML workloads and model deployment.
