Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning / AI Engineering Intern to help build cutting-edge software for mobile and embedded ML platforms.

You will collaborate with researchers and engineers in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment, applying your C/C++ and Python skills to real-world AI workloads on SOC compute and hardware accelerators. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2027 (May–September).
• Expected graduation date of November 2027 or later.
• 1+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python

Responsibilities

• Assist in building ML/AI tooling for mobile and embedded platforms.
• Collaborate with researchers and software developers across disciplines.
• Work with neural network frameworks and ML hardware accelerators.
• Design, develop, and test software for ML tools and frameworks.
• Contribute to edge-device model compression and optimization
