Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. invites university interns to join the Machine Learning / AI Engineering internship track. You will contribute to state-of-the-art ML tools for edge devices while collaborating with researchers and engineers across multiple disciplines.

The program runs for 11–14 weeks in Summer 2027 (May–September) and offers mentorship, hands-on experience with neural networks, and exposure to Qualcomm's SOC compute and ML accelerators, enabling practical, impactful work.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2027 (May–September)
• Expected graduation date of November 2027 or later
• 1+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python

Responsibilities

• Assist in building ML tools and frameworks for edge devices.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and software developers on ML/AI projects.
• Gain exposure to Qualcomm's SOC compute and ML hardware accelerators.
