The successful candidate will design, benchmark, and optimize text embedding and vector search solutions for large-scale clinical data, measured on performance, compliance, and scalability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in AI/ML or Data Engineering, preferably in the healthcare domain.
• Strong understanding and application of embedding and vector search solutions.
• Experience measuring performance metrics for large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and benchmark text chunking and embedding strategies.
• Evaluate embedding models such as OpenAI and SBERT.
• Design and optimize vector search systems.
• Build scalable pipelines for large datasets up to billions of documents.
• Ensure compliance with PHI/HIPAA and enterprise security standards.
