Red Arch Solutions is seeking an experienced AI/ML Data Engineer to design and implement enterprise-scale data platforms powering vector search, RAG, and LLM applications for a national security-focused transformation. You will collaborate across infrastructure, cybersecurity, software engineering, and mission stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in software/data engineering, distributed systems, cloud architecture, or AI/ML platform development.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions and production cloud-native data systems.
• Experience navigating secure, regulated enterprise environments with governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain enterprise-scale data platforms powering vector databases, semantic search, RAG, and LLM apps.
• Establish data quality, lineage, and prompt/context traceability controls; ensure explainability and evaluation of AI outputs.
• Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, and cybersecurity to translate AI requirements into production capabilities.
• Communicate complex AI and data-architecture concepts to senior leadership with clear operational impact.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to maximize reuse of enterprise capabilities and reduce duplication.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting for reliable AI data platforms.
• Assess emerging AI technologies and vector DB platforms to improve capabilities.
