Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a hands-on Mid-level AI/ML Engineer to contribute across the full lifecycle of AI-enabled solutions, from discovery and development to testing, deployment, and sustainment. You will collaborate with data engineers, developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver secure, measurable AI capabilities.

You will build AI/ML applications, NLP pipelines, and RAG components using Python and SQL, implement CI/CD and MLOps practices, and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in AI/ML implementation, NLP, or AI-enabled software development.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, REST APIs, Git, and automated testing.
• Experience with ML frameworks, LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, or model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI/ML-enabled applications, APIs, data-processing components, RAG pipelines, and evaluation tooling.
• Support model development, fine-tuning, evaluation, release management, and monitoring.
• Participate in CI/CD, DevSecOps, MLOps, code-review, and security-scanning processes.
• Collaborate in an multidisciplinary Agile team and communicate technical information clearly.
