Socket.dev is seeking a mid-level software developer to advance AI-powered capabilities within our networking-focused product portfolio. You will work on agentic AI workflows using LangGraph, extend MCP servers, and strengthen RAG pipelines in Python.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of software development experience with Python fundamentals.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML tooling (LLM APIs, vector stores, RAG).
• Comfortable prototyping and production-quality code.
• Interest in networking or enterprise infrastructure domain problems.
• Enthusiasm to learn MCP (Model Context Protocol).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building and maintaining agentic AI workflows using LangGraph.
• Design and extend our library of MCP servers.
• Improve RAG pipelines powering knowledge-retrieval systems, mainly in Python.
• Collaborate in a small-team environment where ideas are welcomed and visible.
