Job summary

Teserac, Inc. is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to build intelligent systems at the intersection of applied AI and critical infrastructure. You will work across the full AI lifecycle—from data pipelines to production support—collaborating closely with a small, fast-moving team.

You will read papers, stay ahead of the field, and translate ideas into production features. Open to junior and senior candidates who learn quickly and ship reliable systems that matter in the real world.

Qualifications

• Bachelor- or Master-level degree in CS/ML/Math or related field
• Proficient in Python programming
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering: testing, version control, CI/CD
• Experience using LLM APIs in applied contexts
• Familiarity with agent-based systems and tool calling
• Proficient in AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code)
• Ability to read ML research and translate ideas into experiments
• Strong analytical thinking and clear communication

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered apps and automation workflows
• Integrate and optimize LLM APIs for production use
• Build retrieval and knowledge-augmentation pipelines
• Develop evaluation frameworks to benchmark AI system performance
• Implement monitoring, tracing, and debugging for AI systems
• Read and synthesize research; propose ideas and defend them with the team
• Contribute to AI architecture decisions and production hardening
• Stay current with evolving AI/ML landscape
