Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a highly motivated AI/ML Engineer to support Generative AI-based digital tools in a pharmaceutical R&D environment. You will join the Automation and Robotics team, focusing on designing, prototyping, and implementing AI-driven solutions for pharmaceutical applications.

The role provides hands-on experience with ML, LLMs, automation, and data engineering, contributing to next-generation digital tools that accelerate innovation in the pharmaceutical

Qualifications

• BS + 5+ years of CS or related field, or MS with relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Jupyter Notebook, Dataiku DSS, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Familiarity with RDKit for cheminformatics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge graphs and RAG systems for scientific data.
• Design, prototype, and deploy AI-driven solutions for chemical processes.
• Implement AI/ML models for predictive analytics and decision support.
• Build robotic control systems to orchestrate workflows with modular lab equipment.
• Create new applications leveraging the Jupyter framework for web tools.
• Integrate and visualize experimental data within apps.
• Develop and maintain Python-based pipelines for data acquisition and automation.
• Collaborate with scientists to refine requirements and iterate prototypes.
• Work with APIs, databases, and internal data pipelines for integration.
• Document code and workflows per internal standards.
