Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies seeks a Principal Software Verification and Validation Engineer to join the global R&D software team. You will lead verification, integration testing, and the development of test software for medical devices and connectivity across on-premise, cloud-native, and hybrid deployments.

You will design test strategies, mentor engineers, and ensure PDP/QMS compliance while delivering high-quality, safe digital health solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of software development and testing experience.
• 5+ years of experience with test scripts.
• Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with test automation and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop verification and validation strategies for software across medical devices and connectivity solutions.
• Lead software testing for OEM connectivity and medical device integration.
• Develop test protocols and plans to meet requirements and regulatory needs.
• Mentor software test engineers and promote a culture of quality.
• Collaborate with software architects, systems engineers, and QA to ensure readiness for V&V activities.
• Prepare test reports documenting coverage of requirements and results.
