Job summary

Roche is seeking a Staff Software Test & Verification Engineer to lead quality initiatives across complex medical device software. The role oversees local and offshore test teams, shaping testing strategy within SAFe and driving progress from planning to execution.

You will pilot AI-assisted testing tools, ensure traceability to regulatory standards (FDA/IEC62304/ISO13485), and mentor engineers across cross-functional teams while upholding DoE principles and robust quality practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software test engineering and QA with leadership experience.
• Experience in regulated software development with medical device standards.
• Hands-on SAFe or Agile with cross-functional mentoring.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define testing strategies, milestones and execution plans for local and offshore teams.
• Coach teams to align scope and quality in SAFe environments.
• Pilot AI-assisted tools for test case generation and defect analysis.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, IEC62304, ISO13485 and regulatory traceability.
