Hologic, Inc. seeks an AI/ML & Computer Vision Lead to identify, evaluate, and integrate AI and CV capabilities across GYN Surgical capital platforms, including imaging and visualization systems. You will guide roadmaps, manage external partners, and ensure compliance with FDA and design controls.

The role requires 8+ years in medical devices or imaging and at least 3 years in AI/CV, with strong cross-functional leadership and strategic thinking. Travel up to 15% may be expected.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 8 years engineering experience in medical devices or imaging.
• At least 3 years developing, evaluating, or integrating AI/CV tech.
• Experience managing external vendors through evaluation and delivery.

Aufgaben

• Identify and prioritize AI/CV opportunities across GYN surgical platforms.
• Translate clinical needs into technical problem statements with measurable criteria.
• Lead evaluation of external AI/imaging data partners and make recommendations.
• Manage vendor relationships, scope PoCs, track milestones, review deliverables.
• Collaborate on IP terms, data ownership, and safety/regulatory alignment.
• Coordinate across R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, and BD.
• Define submission strategies with Regulatory Affairs for AI-enabled features.
• Define data sourcing, annotation, and governance for training/validation.
• Ensure AI/ML components align with design control and IEC standards.
• Mentor engineers on AI/vision methods and industry developments.
