Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer 4 to apply systems engineering principles across the full system life cycle, supporting AI-focused cloud and platform engineering efforts with emphasis on AWS, AI/ML systems, security, and data lifecycle management.

The candidate will interface with Government stakeholders, senior executives, and program personnel while ensuring technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work products and deliverables across multiple ISO/IEC 15288 processes.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
• Experience applying systems engineering across the system life cycle.
• Ability to communicate with Government stakeholders and executives.
• Experience with cloud architecture, AWS, and AI/ML system design.
• Understanding of AI lifecycle, ML pipelines, and DevOps/MLOps.
• Experience with system security on classified systems and data lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering principles across concept to retirement.
• Interface with Government on technical considerations and issues.
• Communicate with program personnel, overseers, and senior executives.
• Ensure technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables.
• Support architectural design, verification, transition, and operation.
• Support project, enterprise, and agreement process areas including risk and configuration management.
