Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Systems Engineer 3 to support AI-focused cloud and platform engineering efforts, applying systems engineering to requirements analysis, design, and integration in cloud, AI/ML, and security contexts.

The role emphasizes data lifecycle management and collaboration with government stakeholders, delivering technical documentation and engineering plans for secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience with cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or platform engineering, especially AWS.
• Experience with AI/ML system design and implementation.
• High-level understanding of the AI lifecycle (development, training, inference, monitoring).
• Experience with ML pipeline development, model deployment, and DevOps/MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead design and development activities for system requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Develop technical documentation and system architecture/design documentation.
• Interface with Government stakeholders and senior executives about technical considerations and issues.
