Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from home with flexible hours. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off.

This remote role pays up to $18/hr and is open to applicants from multiple countries. Contributors review AI outputs, rate adherence and realism, and provide concise, evidence-based explanations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of making clear decisions when both options have flaws.
• Eligible from: Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio misalignment.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English describing what you saw or heard.
