Job summary

iMerit Technology is hiring English Language Specialists to bring precise, native-quality language judgment to multimodal AI systems that combine text, image, video, and audio. You will compare subtle differences between AI outputs, catch errors, and annotate content in video and image with publication-grade English.

The role requires following long, detailed guidelines (often 20+ pages) and applying feedback to improve accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of editing, technical writing, translation, journalism, data annotation, or similar language-driven work.
• Able to follow long, sometimes ambiguous guidelines and make sound judgments.
• Experience with AI/ML annotation or evaluation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compare and evaluate subtle differences between AI-generated images and outputs.
• Catch and document errors in image outputs or annotations.
• Annotate objects, actions, and inferred intent in video content.
• Write clear, precise annotations in fluent, publication-quality English.
• Work from detailed guidelines with strict formatting and content rules.
• Incorporate reviewer/QA feedback to continuously sharpen accuracy.
