Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced English Language Expert for an hourly remote contractor role. You will review AI-generated responses, create expert content, evaluate reasoning quality, and provide precise feedback to improve model accuracy and linguistic performance.

Applicants should have a strong linguistics background, excellent English proficiency (C1/C2), and demonstrated ability to explain corrections clearly. Remote work across time zones is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, English, Translation/Localization, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Proficiency in English at C1/C2 level; native-level preferred.
• Strong grammar, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and editing capability.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify subtle errors and meaning drift.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain corrections and language decisions clearly.
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to apply style guides across content types.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality prompts and expert responses for AI model training.
• Review AI-generated English responses for accuracy, clarity, relevance, and adherence to prompts.
• Evaluate the quality of reasoning and step-by-step solutions.
• Identify errors in logic, meaning, methodology, grammar, syntax, or conceptual understanding.
• Fact-check information and identify unsupported claims.
• Edit and revise AI responses for natural, correct language.
• Provide precise, actionable feedback explaining errors and improvements.
• Rate and compare AI outputs on correctness, reasoning, fluency, and relevance.
• Evaluate outputs for ambiguity, inconsistencies, and bias.
• Develop AI training content to improve model accuracy and context understanding.
• Test models across use cases to identify reliability issues.
• Use tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity for content creation and evaluation.
• Maintain quality in a remote contractor environment.
