Job summary

TSMG is seeking Quality control specialists to support an AI language project focused on improving speech recognition systems. You will review completed language annotations and ensure that transcripts are readable, properly formatted, and faithful to the original content.

As a QC contributor, you will verify punctuation, capitalization, numbers, dates, and currencies, and apply project-specific quality standards. Training and guidelines will be provided before the project starts.

Qualifications

• Excellent written skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed transcription guidelines precisely.
• Identify and correct punctuation, capitalization, numbers, dates, and currencies.
• Review and compare transcripts against original sources and guidelines.
• Maintain the original meaning while improving formatting and readability.
• Use reference audio to resolve ambiguous cases when needed.

Responsibilities

• Review completed Display Transcription tasks for accuracy and consistency.
• Compare Display Transcription against the original lexical transcript and project guidelines.
• Verify correct use of punctuation, capitalization, numbers, dates, times, and currencies.
• Ensure original words and meaning are preserved.
• Identify and correct formatting or guideline-related errors.
• Use reference audio to verify ambiguous cases.
• Apply project-specific quality standards consistently.
• Provide accurate feedback and flag recurring issues when required.
• Complete assigned QC tasks within project deadlines and productivity targets.
