Job summary

TSMG is seeking Quality control specialists to support an AI language project focused on improving speech recognition systems. You will review completed language annotations and ensure AI transcripts read naturally and accurately, following project guidelines.

You will verify punctuation, capitalization, numbers, and normalization, compare against the original transcript, and preserve meaning while fixing formatting issues. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent written skills in the target language.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of punctuation, capitalization, and conventions.
• Ability to identify inconsistencies and errors in formatted text.
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and apply them consistently.
• Basic computer skills and reliable internet access.
• Ability to work independently and meet quality/productivity targets.
• Previous transcription, proofreading, QC, annotation, or linguistic project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review completed Display Transcription tasks for accuracy and consistency.
• Compare Display Transcription against original transcript and guidelines.
• Verify punctuation, capitalization, numbers, dates, times, currencies.
• Ensure original meaning is preserved and correct formatting or guideline errors.
• Use reference audio to verify ambiguous cases when needed.
• Apply project-specific quality standards consistently.
• Provide feedback and flag recurring issues; complete tasks on time.
