Job summary

Presidio in Orlando is seeking a Site Support Engineer to maintain the AI Solutions lab environment, manage lab hardware, servers, networking gear, and demonstration systems to support customer engagements.

This hands-on role collaborates with Solutions Engineering, Lab Management, Field Sales and vendors to ensure reliable lab readiness, troubleshoot issues, and document configurations for repeatable demos and training sessions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of IT infrastructure, lab support, or systems administration experience.
• Hands-on with server hardware, networking gear, and OS installation.
• Experience supporting customer-facing demonstrations or technical events.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain lab hardware, servers, and networking gear.
• Set up and tear down demonstration environments for visits and training.
• Monitor lab infrastructure health and resolve incidents promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors and teams for RMAs and hardware refreshes.
• Maintain inventory and asset tracking for lab assets.
• Support site operations, signage, access, and safety compliance.
• Document configurations, topologies, and SOPs.
• Plan capacity and technology introductions with Lab Management.
• Provide on-site support during customer demos and executive briefings.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff and ensure follow-through.
