Job summary

Azul in Sunnyvale, CA is offering an AI & Operations Internship for an organized undergraduate student to join the IT and Security team. The role can be based at the Sunnyvale office or remote in the US, with 40 hours per week for 8-12 weeks.

You will design, test and deploy Claude skills, help build AI agents, integrate MCP connectors, support security operations, assist IT helpdesk tasks, and maintain Confluence runbooks and documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Engineering, IT, or Physics with GPA ≥ 3.4.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and test Claude skills for IT and Security workflows.
• Assist in scoping, building, and iterating on AI agents that automate IT and Security tasks.
• Configure and validate MCP connector integrations (Slack, Atlassian, Asana, M365, Salesforce) within Claude.
• Support Security with log review, alert triage, and incident documentation following playbooks.
• Assist with hardware procurement tracking, onboarding/offboarding, Jamf management, and SaaS access requests.
• Create and maintain internal documentation for AI tools, security procedures, and IT runbooks in Confluence.
