Job summary

Commure, an AI Operating System for healthcare, seeks a Fullstack Engineer for the AI Integration Team. You will enable seamless data flow between our platform and 40+ EMRs, fetch encounter data, and, when needed, write data back to systems.

You will leverage HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA compliance to drive reliable, scalable integrations. You’ll design end‑to‑end solutions, work with product and security teams, and help advance our integration platform using modern tooling and best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in professional software development.
• Proficient in frontend languages JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
• Proficient in backend languages Python/Go/C++.
• Experience with Git, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, DBs, and monitoring tools.
• Proven track record designing end‑to‑end solutions and strong collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration solutions with healthcare systems, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Use LLM tech to automate reverse‑engineering of EMRs.
• Gather requirements with cross‑functional teams and prioritize work.
• Contribute to architecture and tool improvements.
• Own end‑to‑end integration workflows from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues in production.
• Ensure HIPAA, HL7, FHIR compliance; coordinate with security teams.
• Promote best practices: testing, error handling, CI/CD.
• Work with DevOps/QA on monitoring and alerting for reliability.
• Stay current on healthcare tech trends and innovations.
• Participate in agile planning and team ceremonies.
