Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) is hiring an IT Engineer, AI & Innovation Enablement to help teams leverage AI across the firm. This hands‑on IT role balances engineering with enablement, including testing AI models and rolling out enterprise AI applications.

You will co-own AI platforms, run workshops, and build enablement materials to help colleagues adopt AI in workflows. The role requires in‑office presence 3 days a week in San Francisco or Menlo Park, CA.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in IT systems, security, IT infrastructure and platform engineering roles.
• Optimism and enthusiasm for the future of AI and the desire to teach and help colleagues.
• Ability to apply engineering rigor to evaluating and testing new AI tools and features.

Responsibilities

• Test the latest AI model releases and assess value and risks.
• Set up SSO/SCIM for new AI app deployments and ensure secure access.
• Lead AI workshops, hackathons, and guided build sessions for business units.
• Develop practical guides and an AI Champions network to share knowledge.
