Job summary

Andreessen Horowitz is hiring an IT Engineer, AI & Innovation Enablement to help teams adopt frontier AI capabilities. The role blends hands-on IT engineering with enablement, including testing AI deployments, setting up SSO/SCIM for new apps, and guiding power users on AI use cases.

The position requires coordinating with business units, building scalable playbooks, and driving adoption with strong communication. Office presence 3 days/week in SF or Menlo Park.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in IT systems, security, or platform engineering.
• Ability to teach and share knowledge across IT and the firm.
• Experience with AI tools and enterprise deployments.
• Ability to evaluate AI tools, test features, and plan deployment.
• Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the firm’s AI platforms and manage admin settings.
• Lead workshops and guided build sessions for business units.
• Develop AI enablement materials and governance processes.
• Evaluate frontier AI products and vendor roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT workflows with AI.
