Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Practice Customer Engineer specializing in AI Infrastructure for Google Cloud. In this role, you will partner with technical Sales to incubate, pilot, and deploy Google Cloud’s AI/ML accelerators (TPU/GPU) for startups and large enterprises, helping customers innovate faster with flexible, open infrastructure.

You will identify AI opportunities, develop migration paths, run benchmarks, and build prototypes to solve complex challenges while influencing product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models.
• Experience delivering technical presentations, leading discovery and planning sessions.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted advisor to customers, helping them understand and incorporate AI accelerators into their cloud strategy.
• Demonstrate Google Cloud differentiation, highlight accelerators through proofs of concepts and benchmarking.
• Build repeatable assets to enable customers and internal teams.
• Influence Google Cloud strategy at the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML, by advocating customer requirements.
• Travel to customer sites and events as needed.
