Job summary

OP2 Labs, LLC seeks a Manager of Technology Infrastructure & AI Systems to own the strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and AI-enabled platforms. You will bring hands-on coding capability and deep knowledge of modern AI systems (Grok, Claude) to support rapid growth.

You will build and lead a small team, drive cloud/on‑prem architectures, security, and observability, and partner with engineering, product, and security to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT infrastructure, applications, or platform engineering with 3+ years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), networking, IAM, endpoints, and core apps.
• Hands-on coding/scripting for automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go).
• Hands-on experience with modern AI systems, LLMs (Grok, Claude) and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end IT infrastructure management (cloud, on-prem, hybrid, networking, identity, endpoints).
• Deploy internally developed AI applications into production.
• Define roadmap for reliability, scalability, security, cost optimization, observability.
• Lead evaluation and integration of AI tools (Grok, Claude) for operations and decision-making.
• Establish governance and compliance for AI systems.
• Manage vendors, SLAs, budgets, and drive continuous improvement.
• Build and mentor a small high-performing team and partner with stakeholders.
• Maintain hands-on credibility in architecture review and tooling.
