Job summary

Dover Networks LLC in Maryland is seeking a software engineer to support our Platform team, owning AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and security posture for AI capabilities. You will deploy and maintain reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure that underpins the organization’s AI services, while adapting to evolving mission needs and new tech.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration with multiple teams, and a fast-learning mindset.

Qualifications

3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or similar role.
BS in a technical discipline or 4 additional years of experience.
Proficiency in Python and cloud services (AWS) required.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting the organization’s AI capabilities (AWS, Kubernetes).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for repeatable, reliable deployments.
Configure and use observability tooling to monitor the health and performance of production services.
Support certificate management and follow established security best practices for AI systems and data.
Collaborate with other teams in the organization to provision and configure the infrastructure their services depend on.
Diagnose and help resolve production infrastructure issues.
Proficiency with Python or another modern programming language.
