BayOne Solutions is seeking a Data Center Network Architect to design, implement, and maintain high‑performance networks optimized for AI workloads across on‑prem, cloud, and virtualization platforms.

You will develop a forward‑looking topology, collaborate with facilities teams on space, power, cooling and cabling, configure switches/routers, ensure cloud integration, security, and disaster recovery, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in network design and architecture, with a focus on high-performance computing or AI environments.
  • Proficient in advanced networking protocols and technologies that support AI and HPC workloads.
  • Experience with multi-platform environments, including on-premises data centers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of data center design principles, including power, cooling, and cabling management.
  • Certifications in networking (ACE, JCNIE, CCIE) or data center design are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex network challenges in AI and HPC environments.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities, with experience working with cross-functional teams including facilities, operations, and engineering

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document high-performance, scalable network solutions tailored for AI workloads, ensuring multi-platform operability across on-premises data centers, cloud environments, and virtualized systems.

  • Optimization & Troubleshooting: Monitor and optimize network performance for AI workloads; resolve complex network issues; lead disaster recovery efforts.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain comprehensive network documentation; mentor and train junior engineers on best practices for AI-centric network design.
