Positron AI is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own AI inference and software planning end to end. You will translate model and inference trends into concrete requirements for our inference software stack, including model coverage, numerics, features, serving, and managed service.

This is a deeply technical role at the intersection of engineering, GTM, and the inference ecosystem. You will monitor the model frontier, convert movements into engineering requests, and act as the bridge

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technical product planning for ML/inference.
• Experience with transformer internals and hardware implications.
• Strong communication between engineering and GTM teams.
• Daily use of agentic AI in technical work.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Inference & Software Technical Product Planning.
• Write requirements for inference software stack (model coverage, numerics, features, serving, managed-service).
• Track model frontier and translate into engineering requests before escalation.
• Coordinate with engineering and GTM to communicate roadmaps.
• Understand customer/market needs with GTM teams.
• Define software product lifecycle: versions, release trains, feature modes, catalog, deprecation policy.
• Coordinate with ecosystem partners to align roadmaps.
• Create scope/feasibility frameworks for model/inference innovations.
• Ensure thorough product documentation.
• Streamline planning processes using agentic AI.
