Spectrum Search, in partnership with an AI technology leader, is seeking an AI Implementation Lead to drive customer deployments from discovery to live use in New York City. This hands-on leader will own complex engagements, balance strategic judgment with operational detail, and influence product development through deployment learnings.

Spectrum Search is partnered with a well-backed AI technology company seeking an AI Implementation Lead to turn new enterprise products into successful customer deployments. This opportunity combines client-facing delivery, technology transformation and direct influence over product development.

About the opportunity

The company develops AI software that integrates into existing business workflows, helping organisations reduce manual work and improve customer experiences.

As the business expands its enterprise platform offering, it needs an experienced delivery professional who can take ownership from initial customer alignment through implementation and adoption. You will help establish repeatable delivery methods while working closely with senior stakeholders, Product and Engineering.

The role

You will lead complex customer engagements, translating business priorities into practical implementation plans and guiding deployments through to live use.

This is a hands-on individual contributor position with substantial ownership. It suits someone who combines strategic judgement with the ability to work through operational detail, manage stakeholders and resolve delivery challenges.

Alongside individual engagements, you will develop the processes and playbooks that help the team deliver consistently as deployment activity grows.

Key responsibilities

• Own customer engagements from early discovery and alignment through implementation, launch and adoption.
• Lead enterprise technology deployments, coordinating customer stakeholders and internal teams.
• Translate customer workflows, operational challenges and business objectives into clear product and implementation requirements.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure deployment needs inform product development.
• Build alignment with senior stakeholders, communicating priorities, progress, dependencies and delivery risks.
• Identify implementation obstacles and coordinate practical solutions.
• Develop repeatable engagement playbooks and delivery processes.
• Help customers embed new technology into their operations and realise its intended value.
• Experience leading substantial client-facing technology implementations, enterprise resource planning deployments or business transformations.
• A background in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management or technology startup operations, supported by practical delivery experience.
• The ability to manage complex engagements involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Strong executive communication skills, with confidence translating between business and technical teams.
• Evidence of taking ownership of delivery and working through implementation detail.
• Sound judgement when requirements evolve or established processes are limited.
• Willingness to contribute as a hands-on individual contributor.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience deploying AI products or enterprise software within a business-to-business technology company.
• A background in customer implementation, solutions engineering or strategy and operations.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Technical understanding developed through relevant professional experience or a STEM background.

Location and remote setup

• Full-time position based in New York City.
• Office attendance required four to five days per week.
• Travel approximately twice per month, typically for one to two days per trip.
• Relocation support is not provided.
• Visa transfers may be considered, subject to individual circumstances.
