Job summary

Moderna seeks an Associate Director to lead enterprise cybersecurity solutions spanning non-human identity and credential management, including agentic AI identities, with hands-on leadership across Windows/macOS. Qualifications

• 8+ years in security engineering or related field with principal-level leadership.
• Ability to drive multi-team initiatives balancing risk, delivery, and stakeholders.
• Experience with non-human identities, programmatic credential use, and modern automation.
• Hands-on with credential security controls (secrets vaulting, PKI, rotation).
• Strong understanding of authentication/authorization concepts.
• Experience leading teams including direct reports and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for NHI and credential security across Windows/macOS.
• Lead and develop a team of senior security engineers and manage contingent workers.
• Evaluate, select, and deploy enterprise platforms for secrets management and identity governance.
• Design and operationalize the credential lifecycle for non-human identities across services and AI agents.
• Build the AI security control plane with enforcement points, workflows, and telemetry.
• Collaborate with AI platform owners to ensure secure credential usage in developer workflows.
• Lead endpoint execution control and configuration hardening across platforms.
• Develop detection/reporting for credential misuse and attack surface reduction.
• Author standards and reference architectures; mentor across identity and endpoint security.
