Job summary

Extreme Networks is seeking a Data Protection & Identity Manager to own the company’s identity governance strategy across human, service, and AI identities, and to advance the enterprise DLP program. This pivotal role will reduce credential theft and data exfiltration while aligning security controls with AI-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and operating identity governance programs, including non-human and service account identities
• Expertise in enterprise DLP tooling and policy development
• Experience with AI/ML platform security, incl. securing LLM-based agents, APIs, and automation pipelines
• Strong understanding of zero-trust architecture, least-privilege principles, and PAM
• Familiarity with data classification frameworks and enterprise-scale labeling
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
• Strong analytical and risk assessment skills with business impact translation
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including exec-level reporting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with continuous improvement mindset

Responsibilities

• Own and mature the enterprise DLP strategy, policy framework, and toolset
• Design, implement, and operate an IGA program for human, service, and AI identities
• Define least privilege access models and zero-trust across all identities
• Develop real-time inventory of AI agent identities and access scopes
• Lead access certification and entitlement review cycles
• Integrate human and AI identity management into a cohesive strategy
• Embed identity security into agent deployment pipelines
• Report on DLP program effectiveness and incidents to leadership
